A cigar is measured in inches and diameter is designated in ring gauge divided into sixty -fourths of an inch. EX: a ring gauge or 40 would be 40/64ths of an inch. "As you approach thirty, you have a thirty ring gauge; as you approach fifty, you have a fifty ring gauge." (Cuban saying)
